The Day That Started It All

January 14, 2009
I'll never forget that date.  That's the day that David and I got married.  We didn't have a huge ceremony (or one at all really) or go on a lavish honeymoon.  That sort of thing isn't really our style.  We drove to the courthouse and got married.  Our witnesses were our accountant and his wife.

Our Justice of the Peace was named Rebecca MacBeth.  She was awesome.  She put up with our constant snickering and wobbly legs.  She even read us a Shakespearean sonnet before she married us.  How many people get that extra little frill when marrying at a courthouse?

Told you we were snickering.  I swear, we have a
combined mental age of about fourteen.
